H2O is the chemical formula for water, ice or steam which consists of two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.
Water is a transparent, tasteless, odorless, and nearly colorless chemical substance that is the main constituent of Earth's streams, lakes, and oceans, and the fluids of most living organisms.
Water covers 71% of the Earth's surface.1 It is vital for all known forms of life.
